At Austin Fleck Property Management our policy is to collect the equivalent to one month’s rent at a minimum on each lease. These funds are held in the Trust account until the end of the lease term. At that time, we compare the hundreds of pictures and extensive videos that were taken before the tenant moved in and again after they moved out to determine the security deposit disposition. This is all done in accordance with the law. The tenant is held accountable and appropriate funds are in the account to cover those tenant responsibility items so you don’t come out of pocket for them.
